KWETU Training Centre is a nonprofit making organization based in the Coast region. The Centre deals with the youth, women, orphans and vulnerable children.

The Centre seeks to fill the vacancies indicated below for its project. Interested and qualified persons are requested to make a written Job Application and submit the same together with clear photocopies of Academic and Professional Certificates and other Testimonials.

  1. POSITION: M&E Officer (1)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide quality leadership in formulating techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data.
  • Device and implement efficiency and secure procedures for data handling and analysis with attention to all technical aspects.
  • Design system for receiving, processing, or tracking data.
  • Support data quality in the daily use of data system and ensure adherence to program standards.
  • Identify programming information gaps which need to be addressed in order to better facilitate overall humanitarian response.
  • Monitor and analyze information and data system and evaluate their performance to discover ways of enhancing them.
  • Assist with reports and data extraction when needed.
  • Create and enforce policies for effective data management
  • Any other duty as may be assigned by the supervisor

 

Qualifications and experience

  • Diploma in M&E. A degree is an added advantage
  • Minimum 1year of experience in the data management of OVC programs
  • Extensive data management and analytical experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • No criminal records

 

  1. POSITION: Data Clerk (1)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prioritize and perform data entry clerical duties in an organized manner.
  • Process paper work and enter data in appropriate databases
  • Process and manage data relating to the project.
  • Process and verify data from sites.
  • Compile necessary reports as required
  • And any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualification

  • Form four certificate with mean grade of C and above
  • Basic computer use and common software packages i.e. word, excel, access and internet
  • Demonstrated experience in any form of data collection
  • Experience in working with children is an added advantage
  • A self-motivated flexible individual who can work independently
  • Diploma in IT is an added advantage
  • No criminal records
