Brief History

Kwetu Training Centre for sustainable development (KWETU) was founded in 1996 as a vocational training centre and was registered as a non-governmental organization (NGO) in 1997. The aim of establishing the centre was to equip the unemployed youth, women and fisher folk with knowledge and skills for setting up and managing natural resources based businesses aiming at self employment creation and poverty alleviation.
