Kwetu and its staff is working in this area to teach people how to be less dependent on livestock. One way is kitchen gardening. The traditional kitchen gardening serves as the central source of herbs, vegetables and fruits resistant to drought with a design based on repetitive geometric patterns based on a year-round visual appeal. Kwetu`s kitchen gardening trainings aim to decrease an unsustainable natural resource practices which turn soil to dust and to promote natural diversity and biological cycles on the farm.
