» Makongeni Baraka conservation group – comprises of 45 members 40 of which are women Practices are: crab culture,
prawn culture, fish culture and mangrove conservation. Located in Gazi bay, Msambweni district.
» Majaoni Youth development group – 13 members located in Mombasa district.
» Abent youth group – 30 members 20 of which are men, located in Kilifi district activities include: fish culture and mangrove conservation
» Mida Dabaso conservation group 30 members 28 of which are male, located in Malindi district activities include: board walk and crab culture.
» Baraka Conservation group – 20 members 15 of which are female, located in Malindi district.

Programs set by Kwetu to help the community

» Sensitization of farmers on the sustainable use of trees e.g. Neem, mango, palm and other natural resources.
» Awareness creation among the youth regarding reproductive health, HIV/AIDS & VCT services and good governance.
» Short term trainings in Agro-processing i.e. food processing, beekeeping, Neem processing, organic farming & solar drying.
» Training on mariculture (fish, crab, prawn farming) and extension services to communities.
» Environmental conservation, e.g. tree planting, community clean ups, silvoculture.
